(I'm feeling kinda proud about this. One of the my better recent ones)

It Started as Nobility... It then turned to Disdain...

the broken glass of hopes we smashed just came to a vision
the coldest acts, covulsions, crack had drained the precision
the soldier that knows the path had aimed for the victim
Told the man "Fold your hands" - shots rang in the distance
the stains on the hitmen, chose to grab and throw the strap
overdosed on coke and crack and got slain on the mission
deranged from the sickness to sit with killing an innocent citizen
imprisoned within the sin, it ripped his skin and had picked at him
wore his own image thin, the skin is light on his bones
smoked crack, with old cats he'd invite in his home
and a price not designed to be sold
but did, and the price was his soul, now lives his life in a hole
a grave, a bottomless pit, the thought of it's sick
cuz you can't crawl out till you've reached the bottom of it
hitting shots of the Liq', reminisce on the glocks he had lit
every morning till there's a concoctions of vomit and spit

.....

a dream begins invading the mind, taking it's time
slowly decaying the walls and breaks it's design
the tye-dye of wasted years and hatred inside
create the kaleidescope of vacancy signs
the place that resides where the conscience is
already lost and drowned in the vodka shots within
alone again, he begins to take a hit of the cig'rette
feeling diminished he begins to revisit the mission

....

doped up, gun in his holster but was numb from the coca
felt a thud on his shoulder, and someone whispered something to soldier
mind too gone to remember it, took orders officers should never give
didn't give a damn, he was taught to dismember when
the orders are given, it's this sort of decision
that makes him morose for a minute, but is forced in position
takes form in an instant, he cocks the hammer
taught this manner by devilish thoughts of glamour
shot the man for no reason, now he's plagued with regrets
hating his friends, stuck in a maze, and debating his end
but this sort of soldier is a daily occurance
among many if any one tries to feel safe with assurance
join the regime, and say that you stay for a purpose
and be ready to get lost in the ways of a serpeant
but when fate intervenes with the things and the way you have dreamed
it takes what it needs, breaks what it can, and makes you a fiend
it's the statements of greed, but hate's the disease
war doesn't solve problems, it just creates em for me.

I've chosen a path open to have me hopeless, if that...
it hurts, knowing it has, opened the gash that sewed in the facts
alcohol cures the coldest of acts and masks the pain inside
it taints the pride, but coke numbs the brain and mind
continue wasting away, too much vicodins taken today
I used to have a future, but I drank it away
facing the maze in a drug-induced coma, walking
broke as a joke, so that had to be my only option
I found my way, adjacent to the ground with a frowning face
earlier only found the motivation to down a case
Now i stay at the play ground,
came down from the pills with a 6 shooter but 8 rounds
I hate how the irony fits, then supplies my mind with this shit
like " I can kill and rob a person just to find me a fix"
just another day in the life that i live
and not just liking but also inviting the twists
mind turns to the plot, a little girl had been shot
twenty one bucks, plenty enough for the serving of shots
swerving my thoughts through this service of cops
nervous I got, but the liquor gots me more
needed the money, so i grabbed the shotgun and shot some whores
justified it by me doing the work of god
a worthy thought kept moving to the liquor store on 1st & Trott
but first, i'd stop and ask my ex-wife for a kiss
if she denies me then she'll die like a bitch
and finally I find that i'm aight and don't mind how i'm confined in this sin
found my way the door, and opened it in hopes of finding my kid
he lyes in his crib, so beautiful, I must just love to hate him
I needed his ma's attention too so i used the pillow to suffocate him
disgusted with myself, i needed a shot of the captain
swallowed it until the contents of the bottle was absent
it's around this time I become lost in this habbit
Memory's clogged and my vision fogs till it blackens
then I awake,
and arsenal of bombs but no pins in the grenades
I look out the window and saw that i was digging a grave
within it had laid my ex-wife and my infant i slain
the image is twisted but still sits in my brain
the slits in my vein are telling me i'll soon be gone
just another alcoholic, so people will keep moving on
..........
I awaken to the sounds of sirens,
and get a phone call that only holds astounding violence
my ex-wife and son were killed and found bound by wires
but I don't know how this whole thing works...
cuz I don't remember last night, but i have here phone and purse...

This, for the most part, was keyed as I went along. Came up with the story line as i was writing, so it's not a showcase, just trying to get back into the groove of things.

The flow was pretty aight. Wasn't feeling the content so much, but still nice with it. Not to be a rhyme "stickler" but some syllables were off in a multi or two. Other than that, no real complaints

yeah yeah I know I know... iono what's been up, but I have a feeling we're going to be changing the board around back to default phpbb3 in a few weeks... that should clear up some of the session errors we've been having with that "critical sessions... cannot connect to database" thingie msg we keep getting, as well as the fancy stuff... it'll end up looking like sc's board, only we'll have subforums and attachments still available.... no wooden nickels, tho, or anything else other than what you get at sc's board, to include color even, so if you don't want us to do that, say so, and I'll just stick to upgrading this package to at least see if that doesn't fix some of these session errors.
